New party in town! If all goes well “Woohaa!” will be held at Club 69 in Ghent every 4th Thursday of the month. Unlike “All Eyes On Hip Hop” these nights will focus on a lot more then one music style. So be prepared if you join these nights which will be much more electronic based.
From now on “All Eyes On Hip Hop” will be held every 2nd Thursday of the month at White Cat. This time it’s an all local edition with Squib, MR Leenknecht and myself on the decks and Acrid Cast on the mic. More info on Facebook.
Also: march will be a special month for “All Eyes On Hip Hop”: on the 8th there’s an edition with “Souls Of Mischief” and on the 28th one with Oddisee, Apollo Brown and O.C. of D.I.T.C. so mark that in you agenda.

Next friday I’m closing down the 2 day long Stormloopfestival, a festival focusing on getting young people in touch with music, sports and culture at the Centrale in Ghent. Really curious about seeing our Ghent based band Stuff play as backing band for Dutch mc’s Rico, Typhoon & Blaxtar. See you there, it’s the ideal party to kick off the holidays.

Live at the Las Vegas Wedding - Red Cat Ghent
Last Saturday I was at the dopest wedding I ever experienced. Pieter - NAGD, you might know him from Postr Magazine - got married to Evelyne in Las Vegas and decided to throw a party at our favorite Red Cat with some Ghent based dj’s. Gus even arranged Eric Rico from California to come do a special surprise performance and everybody had the greatest time.
This is my set from the night (starting with Big Boi) taking over after a boombap hip hop set by Prime. Not your regular wedding party music…
Oh and don’t mind the rewinds at the end, you can’t ignore a bride asking to rewind a track back to the beginning. Once again good luck to Pieter & Evelyne!
