Action Bronson - All Eyes On Hip Hop - Charlatan Ghent

Last weeks edition of All Eyes On Hip Hop was literally doomed, the original line up had to be replaced by Action Bronson who was really not in the mood and broke of his show after 15 minutes, leaving the crowd angry behind. When we realized he was not coming back I started to spin some records in an attempt to get an early after party started but for some reason there was almost no sound coming out of the mixer, which made a big part of the the already disappointed crowd leave the venue. To make matters even worse our guest dj Jane Doe who was on her way from Amsterdam got into car trouble in Antwerp and after 3 hours on the highway had to face the fact that she wouldn’t make it to Ghent that night.
All in all a sad ending of a night people had expected a lot from. But no worries next week All Eyes On Hip Hop is already back, at White Cat again this time and if all goes well with Jane Doe + a showcase by Amsterdam mc Maydiën. Hope to see you there.

This is the 2nd hour of my warm up set for Souls Of Mischief’s performance at the last “All Eyes On Hip Hop”. Charlatan was sold out 2 weeks in advance so as the place was filling up I went from some recent hip hop tracks into a bunch of classics from the 90’s. “93’ Till Infinity” remember?
